The Newest Bromances in Sports

Nick DimengoApr 30, 2016

Bromances are a way of life, we all know that.

Us guys find ourselves having fun with some other dude while broing out and, all of a sudden, we're talking the same, dressing similarly and doing everything together.

It's weird, but we all do it.

And because some of our favorite sports stars experience the same feeling, here are the newest bromances in sports.

Madison Bumgarner and Hunter Pence

Teammates on the San Francisco Giants since 2012, both Madison Bumgarner and Hunter Pence have shown that they love hanging out together—especially when chugging beer in the clubhouse after postseason wins.

While Pence is seven years older than Bumgarner, these two don't let a little gap in age hold them back from having a good time together.

More recently, Pence even gave Bumgarner a Game of Thrones mask "because why not?" as Cut4's Adrian Garro noted.

Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller

Maybe it was their love for dancing that brought together All-Pro NFL players Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller, because they've been seen in a few different places that show they're buddy-buddy off the gridiron.

Miller, who's competing on the TV show Dancing With the Stars, even got a little help from OBJ on some moves to teach Von's dancing coach, Lindsay Arnold, a couple of weeks ago.

After sitting next to each other at this year's NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto, too, it's pretty clear that Beckham and Miller have a bond that only freak athletes are allowed to join—because they both fit that description.

Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn

Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars aren't only the best combo on the Dallas Stars during games, but they also share some joy together off the ice, too.

Both in their mid-20s, both Benn and Seguin enjoy hanging out with one another anytime they get the chance to, making it a point to congratulate one another during games and clowning around together in the locker room.

Seguin and Benn have shared a lot of good laughs already, so one could only imagine what it'd be like if these two won a Stanley Cup title together one day. It'd be lit!

Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola

The New England Patriots have had one of the most consistent franchises in all of sports over the past 15-plus years thanks to quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick, but they happen to have some of the most entertaining players in the NFL, too.

Look no further than wide receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, who have been known to bro out together over the years—most recently doing a spoof of the longtime TV show Cops in epic fashion.

Not a bad way to pass the time during the NFL offseason, guys, so solid job.

Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan

Playing together on the Los Angeles Clippers, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are the two young stars the team has decided to build around for the foreseeable future, re-upping Jordan last summer to stick around town awhile.

It was with Griffin's help that made that deal possible, too, as Blake described running through the airport in L.A. "like an insane person" to get to DeAndre's house as fast as possible to try to talk the center into staying with the Clips instead of signing with the Dallas Mavericks.

They're both athletic big men who can jump out the gym, and it's easy to see why they like to roll around together, too.

Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus

You know that feeling when a friend is like an annoying little brother whom you just can't help but give questioning looks to after almost anything he does? That's the relationship between Texas Rangers teammates Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus.

Beltre, who despises anyone who touches his head, has found that Andrus thoroughly enjoys messing with the older player, sneaking a pat on the dome anytime he can.

Don't feel too bad for Adrian, though, because he gets back at his teammate while he can, proving that these two have a strange, but close, relationship.

Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon

Although fans would think that suspended wide receiver Josh Gordon would be working toward trying to clean up his act, he's become more and more chummy with former Cleveland Browns teammate Johnny Manziel over the past few months.

While the two were rumored to hang out during their days in Cleveland—with both taking a trip together last year, according to Busted Coverage—things have gotten weirder thanks to rumors of Manziel living with Gordon in his L.A. house, according to ESPN.com, the two spotted at Coachella recently and Gordon rescuing Johnny after a car wreck a couple weeks ago, according to TMZ.

Something tells me this isn't going to help either of their football careers.

Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Smylie Kaufman and Justin Thomas

It's not common to see a foursome of pro athletes bond to build a massive bromance, but that's exactly what happened for Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Smylie Kaufman and Justin Thomas after the Masters.

Wanting to escape the "difficult" life of professional golf, the four booked a bro trip to the Bahamas last week that looked about as wild as an entire frat house's spring break.

Posting a number of different pictures and videos, every guy on the planet found themselves jealous of these shirtless, shoeless, crazy golfers.
