The Minnesota Vikings seemingly have their quarterback of the future in Teddy Bridgewater, and they added to the passing game Thursday at the 2016 NFL draft, selecting Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell with the 23rd overall pick.

NFL Network's Rand Getlin believes the Vikings are building something special on the offensive side of the ball:
ESPN.com's Matt Bowen also praised the pick:
Some have criticized Treadwell's lack of explosion. Per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, he ran 4.63-second and 4.65-second 40-yard dashes at Ole Miss' pro day. ESPN.com's Travis Haney argued the relatively slow times might not be a major concern:
Here's how the rest of social media reacted to the selection:
Treadwell makes a lot of sense for the Vikings. Not only is he one of the best pass-catchers in this year's draft class, but he'll also complement Stefon Diggs, who boasts more speed at wideout (4.46 40). Diggs can be the bigger threat down the field, while Treadwell can do the dirty work inside.
Bridgewater is the crown jewel of the offense, so Minnesota is smart to build everything around him.
