Patriots Subtly Comment on Tom Brady Suspension, Loss of Pick with IG Post

Right before the NFL draft started on Thursday night, the New England Patriots made a statement.

The team’s official Instagram account posted a picture of Tom Brady that featured no caption—because it didn’t need one.

New England also changed both its Twitter and IG avatars to the same photo.

This, of course, is in reference to Deflategate, which has resurfaced in recent days. In addition to a four-game suspension for Brady, the controversy also resulted in the Patriots losing this year’s first-round pick.

As they reminded us on Thursday, the Pats will be just fine as long as they have No. 12.
