'The Sneaker Don' Runs a 'Booming' Shoe Business as a High Schooler

Kyle NewportJun 6, 2018

While most teenagers are busy worrying about homework and extracurricular activities such as athletics or marching band, Benjamin Kapelushnik has his hands full with being "The Sneaker Don."

Because business is booming.

Kapelushnik got into the shoe game in fifth grade when he got a pair of LeBrons. Not too long thereafter, he had to find a way to continue to be a sneakerhead on his own dime—and thus a business was born.

While he certainly wants some pairs for himself, he has found a way to get his hands on some sneakers to sell to others. Impressively, he has several high-profile clients, including DJ Khaled and Chris Brown.

The Sneaker Don has done nearly $1 million in business through the years, all before he has graduated high school. That's not a bad thing to have on a resume.
