NASCAR at Richmond 2016: Live Results and Analysis from the Toyota Owners 400
Carl Edwards used a bump and run on the final lap to get past teammate Kyle Busch and capture the checkered flag for a second race in a row at Sunday's Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.
The last-lap pass was the first for a win in track history.
Edwards led a race-high 151 laps on the three-quarter mile track but seemed like he'd come up just short before he caught a late surge on the last lap, bumped Busch and raced by him on the inside line to the finish.
Busch, who led 78 laps, was forced to settle for a second-place finish.
Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and Kevin Harvick rounded out the top five.
Tony Stewart, making his first start of the season after missing eight races with a broken back, finished in 19th place.
NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series returns to action Sunday with the always wild Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
