Sometimes, even the best-laid plans go awry.

The Golden State Warriors simply agreed to a series of portraits for the San Francisco Chronicle, but, as it so often does, the Internet community had other plans.

Twitter users flocked to the photos and hijacked them for their meme-creating pleasure. The roast-caliber results are undeniably hilarious.

For instance, this comedic blend of Stephen Curry's hooded fashion choices, a popular video game and nickname (the Baby-Faced Assassin).

There's this juxtaposition with the Indiana Pacers that emphasizes their comparatively conservative attire...

...or rather, what some considered to be their especially conservative attire.

Many suggested suitable contexts for the looks, varying from former television programs...

...to hypothetical biographical films.

Even the functionality of the outfits was ridiculed.

This may well be the Dubs' 10th loss of the season.
