Titans' Movie Night for Fans at Nissan Stadium Gets Interrupted by Sprinklers
While blankets and snacks were probably on the list of things that fans should bring to the Tennessee Titans' movie night, bathing suits and beach towels were likely not.
But they should have been.
The Titans came up with a cool idea to host a movie night this past Saturday, giving season ticket holders the opportunity to watch a film (Minions) on the from the field. That's the perfect way to spend an evening if you're a football fan.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, not everything went smoothly during the event.
At some point, the sprinklers on the Nissan Stadium field went off—and that had fans looking for a place to stay dry.

The Titans provided an apology to the Tennessean as a result of the issue:
"Some sprinklers went off for about 30-45 seconds in one quadrant of the field, which was unfortunate and unexpected since we had changed the timers for the sprinklers. We had a good turnout of our season ticket members and their families and realize it didn’t make for a great night for those who got wet, and for that we apologize.
"
It was a good idea to hold a movie night at the stadium during the offseason, but the Titans didn't work out all the kinks. Next time should go much more smoothly now that they have some experience.
