WWE will also be doing shows in Brussels, Paris and Malaga, Spain, until April 23, per WWE.com.
Along with The King of Kings making his in-ring return, Shane McMahon will appear on the April 19 edition of SmackDown in London, per WWE.com. Shane O’Mac has been running operations on Raw for the last two weeks, so this will be his first time working on WWE’s other flagship show.
Triple H's 14th world title reign came to an end at the hands of Roman Reigns at AT&T Stadium on April 3. WWE’s chief operating officer won the world title at the Royal Rumble in January and built a nearly three-monthlong feud with Reigns and Dean Ambrose leading up to WrestleMania. Reigns will meet AJ Styles at Payback on May 1 in Chicago for the world title, so it’s likely Triple H will be working with a different opponent this time around.
It’s unclear whether he’ll be taking part in a new feud that could lead up to Extreme Rules, but it’s a possibility to keep an eye on.
As for the son of Vince McMahon, his taking part in SmackDown is an interesting development. WWE noted Shane has been running Raw "due to overwhelming social media support.” The storyline between the McMahons only linked Shane to Raw, but if he’ll have his fingerprints on SmackDown as well, it could be a much-needed boost for WWE’s other program.
