IPL Results 2016: Daredevils vs. Kings XI Score, Revised Table and Schedule
The Delhi Daredevils ripped through the Kings XI Punjab's batting order with ruthless precision as Amit Mishra posted spectacular bowling figures of four for 11 from just three overs.
Kings XI ended their innings on 111 from nine after the tail wagged to save further blushes, but the performance lacked precision and verve on a decent playing surface. The Daredevils made no mistake when they came into bat, and they made short work of Mitchell Johnson and his fellow bowlers.

Delhi Daredevils vs Kings XI Punjab
Daredevils: 113/2 beat Kings XI: 111/9 by eight wickets

The Daredevils won the toss and forced Punjab to bat, and it became evident early on Delhi made the right decision.
The visitors struggled with the bat in hand and were pulverised by Mishra and his team-mates.
The Indian bowler was in supreme form and restricted the score to 12 from one in the opening two overs of the contest.
Murali Vijay lost his wicket to a run-out after facing just five balls at the top of the order, and it was all downhill for Punjab from there.
Mishra entered the fray after Vijay exited the crease and quickly plundered a trio of wickets as Manan Vohra, Shaun Marsh and David Miller were dismissed.
The IPL shared footage of the bowler's stellar contribution:
The turning wicket continued to outfox Delhi as they lost eight consecutive wickets for only 74 runs.
Ayaz Memon complimented the efforts of the hosts' prime bowler:
"Fine effort by Delhi bowlers, especially Mishra but disappointing batting by Punjab. Miller looks frozen & Maxi had shrunk into a mini!

The Daredevils looked inhibited as they came into bat, but they soon found their rhythm through Quinton de Kock's aggressive effort.
The top order batsman waited before attacking the bowling contingent but finally initiated the successful run chase.
The talented South African hit 59 off just 42 balls as his side raced to 113 from two for a convincing eight wicket victory.
It seems it could be a difficult competition for the Kings XI, who do not have the current form to make a dent in the proceedings.
Their lack of quality will see them struggle to make the play-offs, as the likes of Delhi push on.
