NFL Draft 2016: 1st-Round Mock Draft and Teams Most Likely to Trade Up
The Los Angeles Rams shocked the football world on Thursday when they announced they had acquired the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NFL draft from the Tennessee Titans.
The blockbuster trade, which virtually guarantees a quarterback will be selected No. 1 overall, dramatically shakes up the outlook for the first round.
Obviously, the Rams' draft plans have been altered, but it also has a trickle-down effect on the rest of the first round and could set the table for even more draft-day deals.
Here's a look at an updated mock draft to reflect the trade as well as a few other trades we could see on draft day.

Projected Trades
San Francisco 49ers Acquire Pick No. 2 from Cleveland Browns

The San Francisco 49ers are among the teams that are likely feeling a little nervous now that the Rams are sitting in the top spot.
With only Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert on the roster, head coach Chip Kelly presumably wants to put his stamp on the franchise with a new quarterback. But with either Carson Wentz or Jared Goff going No. 1 overall, the odds of the other falling to the 49ers at No. 7 are slim.
Fortunately for the 49ers, the Cleveland Browns own the No. 2 pick and are likely motivated to trade down.
Cleveland is in full teardown mode—it's not even at the rebuilding stage yet—so the front office would likely accept a package of picks from San Francisco to help facilitate that process.
If this trade happens, don't expect it to go down until draft day. San Francisco will want to see who the Rams end up with at No. 1 before committing to move up.
Denver Broncos Trade Up for Pick No. 19 from Buffalo Bills

The Denver Broncos are potentially an indirect winner from the Rams-Titans trade.
With the Rams now sitting at No. 1, there's one less team in the middle of the first round interested in landing a quarterback.
Of course, this could mean the quarterbacks simply come off the board higher than expected. However, since there are likely fewer teams with first-round grades on Memphis' Paxton Lynch and Michigan State's Connor Cook, it increases the odds that someone falls far enough to get within reach of the Broncos.
There are a few teams in the late first round that may be interested in a quarterback, such as the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals. So if Lynch were to fall, Denver general manager John Elway could be motivated to trade up.
The Bills' pick at No. 19 is an obvious target for Denver because it places them one spot ahead of the Jets, who are currently stuck with only Geno Smith and Bryce Petty on the depth chart at quarterback.
