Adam Levine Tells Story of How Baron Davis Dropped 60 Points on Him

When talking about how he made the decision to want to be a musician, Maroon 5's Adam Levine tells the story in the video above of how playing basketball against Baron Davis helped get him to that point.

As he explains it, when he was 13 or 14, his team went up against Davis' squad, and Levine had the unfortunate job of having to guard the future NBA All-Star.

Needless to say, it did not go well.

In the end, seeing someone excel at something like that made Levine realize that A) he was never going to be that good at basketball, and B) maybe he could be that good at guitar.
