Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona: Goals, Highlights from Champions League Match

Atletico Madrid welcomed Barcelona to the Vicente Calderon stadium on Wednesday evening for the perfectly poised second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

Barca went into the game with a 2-1 advantage, but Atleti had plenty of reasons to be positive before kick-off: They had lost just two of 28 European home games and had won 11 of 20 European ties in which they had lost the first leg away (as per the Guardian).

There was little action of note in the first 30 minutes of play, save for the moment when Lionel Messi tracked back and did some defending:

In the 86th minute, Barca conceded a penalty when Andres Iniesta clearly handled in the box. Griezmann made it 3-2 on aggregate:

After some tense closing moments, it finished 2-0 on the evening to Atleti, with the Madrid side moving on to the semi-finals in two weeks' time...
