Best Booking Options for Wyatt Family and League of Nations at WWE Payback 2016
The Wyatt Family has met its match. Or is it the other way around?
Shortly after The League of Nations lost the tag team title match against The New Day on April 4, The Wyatt Family ambushed The League. The team of Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan beat down Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Rusev.
The following week, the Wyatts saved Roman Reigns from The League of Nations’ wrath, which culminated in Bray Wyatt teaming with Reigns against Sheamus and Del Rio at Raw’s main event on April 11. Wyatt picked up the win by hitting Sister Abigail on Del Rio.

The Wyatt Family has the upper hand over The League of Nations. However, the Wyatts must be prepared to take precaution against this formidable faction.
The Wyatts found the perfect opponent in The League. In fact, it may have been too perfect for their liking. But what are the best booking options for The Wyatt Family and The League of Nations leading up to WWE Payback on May 1?
Let’s analyze each competitor. For starters, each current member of the Wyatts has never held a title. The League of Nations has two former world champions, Sheamus and Del Rio. Each member has also had a stint as the United States champion.
Credentials are one thing, but styles are another. Surprisingly, The League of Nations has the upper hand here.
Wyatt, Strowman and Rowan are very similar in their wrestling approach. They hit hard with smashmouth wrestling. Wyatt serves as the quickest of the three, Strowman is the giant and Rowan is the veteran.
All three men on The League of Nations can also hit hard. Sheamus and Rusev are the heavy hitters, while Del Rio is the tactician. They are all capable of wearing their enemies down. Furthermore, they’re also coming off a huge WrestleMania victory over The New Day.
The plus side for The League of Nations is that each member is agile and can outrun and outlast The Wyatt Family if it comes to endurance (keep in mind that Luke Harper of the Wyatts is injured and won’t be returning anytime soon).
Where does that leave The Wyatt Family? While The League has the advantage in skill set, experience is a different story.
The Wyatt Family took down The Shield at the 2014 Elimination Chamber event, and that faction featured Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, who all became champions. Ironically enough, that includes the United States title (Ambrose) and the WWE world title, with Reigns as the current champion and Rollins the former one.
Experience is on the Wyatts’ side, as they know what it takes to win when all members are involved.
The mind games are also factors in The Wyatt Family’s favor. Take for example the recent Raw episode.
Wyatt’s brothers appeared and ambushed Rusev, which left Del Rio isolated and vulnerable, and Wyatt hit the Sister Abigail on Del Rio for the victory. They’ve secured the upper hand, nearly squashing any momentum The League of Nations had after WrestleMania.
It’s clear the Wyatts are in their heads. Wyatt and Company didn’t have that advantage against The Shield two years ago, which incidentally was a match they won.
The Wyatts will face The League of Nations and win because of the mind games. They can take a skilled faction and throw it off its game.
When The Wyatt Family takes on The League of Nations, expect the Wyatts to emerge victorious. Thanks to their mind games, they’ve already won the battle against The League. It’s only a matter of time before The Wyatt Family claim victory in the war with The League of Nations.
