Neymar's Barcelona Contract Involves Learning Catalan, Prevents Him from Skiing

Football Leaks leaked Neymar's contract with Barcelona on Monday, revealing a number of interesting details.

The most compelling part of the contract is the requirement for the Brazilian forward to learn the Catalan language in order to "integrate into Catalan society, respecting and assuming the cultural values," according to Sport.

As is common practice with professional athletes, the contract also prohibits Neymar from skiing, paragliding, climbing and riding motorbikes—activities that all carry increased risks of injury.

Neymar is also banned from most instances of betting and gambling, but it is believed his image partnership with PokerStars does not infringe on this detail.
