Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

The Golden State Warriors moved just one win away from the all-time record for wins in a regular season Sunday with a massive 92-86 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Golden State's win in San Antonio was its first road win against the Spurs in more than 19 seasons and also gave the Spurs their first home loss of the campaign.

Stephen Curry, like usual, was the Warriors' biggest star of the evening. He netted 37 points on 13-of-22 shooting, including 15 in the third quarter that swung the momentum after San Antonio took a 45-37 advantage early in the second half. 

Both teams struggled offensively for much of the game, but it was the Spurs who faltered more on that end. Their traditional ball movement wasn't quite as crisp as usual, and they shot just 3-of-17 from behind the three-point line. Give credit to the scrambling Warriors defense.

Spurs superstar Kawhi Leonard shot just 7-of-22, despite tallying an impressive overall line of 20 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and three blocks with just zero turnovers. LaMarcus Aldridge added 24 points and 10 rebounds.

The 72-9 Warriors can claim the record-breaking win in their season finale against the Memphis Grizzlies Wednesday. The 65-15 Spurs, meanwhile, are locked into the Western Conference's No. 2 seed and next play the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday night.
