Jose Mourinho Meets Anthony Joshua in Dressing Room After World Heavyweight Bout
The congratulations and good wishes have been flowing in for boxer Anthony Joshua since he beat Charles Martin to claim the IBF world heavyweight title on Saturday.
Joshua, an Olympic gold medalist, floored his American opponent in the second round to claim the title in just his 16th professional fight.
And after the bout, he was paid a visit by another special one—former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese boss sat in the front row for the fight and made the trip backstage to congratulate Joshua after his impressive victory.
Mourinho was sacked by the Blues in December but has been widely linked with a return to the Premier League in the summer with Manchester United.
"I am always linked with jobs and in the summer I will have a job, but in this moment I can promise you I do not have a contract with any club," he told Sky Sports (via the Mirror) after the fight.
