Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3 Purse: Prize-Money Payouts After Main Event Fight

Manny Pacquiao bowed out of boxing in winning fashion, beating Timothy Bradley by unanimous decision on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Almost a year after his defeat to Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the same venue, Pacquiao claimed a well-earned victory over Bradley—the Filipino's second triumph in the three fights between the pair.

Having previously said that Saturday would be his last fight, he insisted afterward that he is indeed now retired, per the Guardian's Bryan Armen Graham. Pacquiao enjoyed a lucrative final payday, although not quite the $120 million windfall he received for last May's underwhelming clash with Mayweather.

Pac-Man "Guaranteed" a Reported $20 Million

The bout with Bradley was Pacquiao's first fight since the Money clash, as he has been recovering from surgery to his right shoulder.

According to ESPN.com's Dan Rafael, Top Rank has guaranteed the 37-year-old $20 million for his night's work over the 12 rounds, although the official purse is for $7 million, with Bradley collecting $4 million.

Top Rank's Bob Arum said Pac-Man will collect the additional $13 million "within a couple of weeks of the fight," per Rafael.

Pacquiao collected $26 million and Bradley $5 million when the American won a controversial split decision in 2012. The share was $20 million and $6 million, respectively, when the eight-division champion won the rematch in 2014.

His final payday takes Pacquiao's career earnings to a staggering $500 million, per Forbes' Kurt Badenhausen.

All three judges scored the fight 116-110 on Saturday in Pacquiao's favour after he had knocked Bradley down in the seventh and ninth rounds, per Fox Sports News.

Per The Vertical's Chris Mannix, it was never really in doubt who would win the fight, as Pacquiao had proved in the previous two bouts that he is the superior fighter:

The victory does allow Pacquiao to prove his superiority over Bradley numerically, though, as the history books will now show he won their unlikely trilogy 2-1.

It also allowed Pacquiao to hang up his gloves on a high, 11 months on from one of his career low points against Mayweather.
