Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3 Purse: Known Prize-Money-Payout Distribution
Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley squared off for the third time Saturday in a rubber match that drew plenty of boxing fans.
Pacquiao earned a unanimous-decision victory, with all three judges scoring the bout 116-110, per HBOboxing.
With Floyd Mayweather Jr. retired, Pacquiao remains the big boxing pay-per-view draw. Although he's already reportedly pocketed a $2 million advance as part of a $20 million purse, per ESPN.com's Dan Rafael, there are considerable stakes on the line in Pacquiao's upcoming showdown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
According to Rafael, Pacquiao earned $7 million alone from his fight purse, with Bradley taking home $4 million.
Not only was the bout with Bradley for the WBO International welterweight title, but it also served as a measure of how much Pac-Man has in the tank. He lost last May to Mayweather by unanimous decision, though he was dealing with a torn right rotator cuff that required surgery.
As was captured in a brief excerpt from a Top Rank Boxingย interview, Pacquiao appeared revitalized and prepared to prove he's still capable of being a boxing dynamo with impeccable quickness and devastating combinations:
Bradley defeated Pacquiao in a controversial split decision in June 2012 but lost by unanimous decision in the April 2014 rematch. The third entry was as decisive as the second, with Pacquiao proving himself to be the superior fighter.
