Scott PolacekApr 4, 2016

It’s not often that former presidents stand in the shadows of anyone, but George W. Bush was literally in the shadow of wrestler Big Show on Monday at Opening Day for the Texas Rangers.

Scott Fishman of the Sun Sentinel shared an image of the two in Arlington for the Rangers’ opener against the Seattle Mariners:

Safe to say, Big Show enjoyed his meeting given his quote, per Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News:

Bush wasn’t the only person Big Show spent time with on Monday, as the Rangers shared:

Big Show is fresh off an appearance at Sunday’s WrestleMania 32 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. He was part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal that also included NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. The group eliminated both Big Show and O’Neal, but the former Los Angeles Lakers star called out the wrestler for a future showdown, via the WWE:

No word on whether Bush offered any wrestling tips for Big Show that would help with another clash against O'Neal.
