The League of Nations defeated The New Day in a six-man tag team match Sunday night at WrestleMania 32, and King Barrett said afterward that no three-man group in history could take down the lads.

The three Hall of Famers confronted Barrett, Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio in the ring with some slight help from The New Day. Foley locked in the Socko-filed Mandible Claw on Sheamus, Michaels delivered Sweet Chin Music to Del Rio and Rusev sold a Stone Cold Stunner from Austin that would make The Rock proud:
Afterward, The New Day tried to celebrate with the three legends and even got the Texas Rattlesnake to do some dancing before Xavier Woods took a stunner from the former WWE champion:
After the confrontation that brought the AT&T Stadium crowd to its feet, WWE provided a backstage shot of the three legends:
The battle between The New Day and The League of Nations was not for the WWE tag team titles, like anticipated. Overall, it was a solid match that had a couple of mishaps toward the end and an odd finish. The three legends coming out after the match saved the segment.
Although it was an interesting collection of talent, this was a good move by WWE to get its annual legends pop. Austin was part of the trio featuring The Rock and Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 30, which rocked the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
All in all, it was an exciting segment that got the crowd going after a confusing finish. Although WWE probably didn't plan for that, it got the fans excited heading into the street fight between Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose.
