While the Great One was announcing the new WrestleMania attendance record of 101,763 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at WrestleMania 32, Bray Wyatt and Wyatt Family members Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman interrupted him.
After the Eater of Worlds threatened to "eviscerate" The Rock, the most electrifying man in sports entertainment did one better: He quickly transformed into his wrestling gear, ready for a match against the leader of The Wyatt Family, via the official Twitter account of WrestleMania:
Instead, Rock got a match against Rowan and defeated The Wyatt Family member in six seconds after landing a Rock Bottom for the three count.
WWE captured the moment after Rock was named the victor:
Moments later, The Wyatt Family surrounded the ring, ready to pounce on the former WWE champion before Cena's music hit and he stormed toward the ring. After Cena landed an Attitude Adjustment to Rowan and a People's Elbow to Wyatt, the two former rivals stood tall in the ring and celebrated with the crowd.
Even Grammy Award-winning rapper Fabolous was at the event and captured this moment:
If this was Cena's comeback moment to in-ring competition, this is a good sign for a WWE roster that has been depleted by injuries over the last six months. Although it wasn't a match, the crowd got to see Cena and The Rock in a WrestleMania ring one more time for good measure.
