Gonzalo Higuain Scores 30th Serie A Goal of the Season for Napoli

Gonzalo Higuain continued his red-hot Serie A campaign with a 30th goal in just 31 league games.

The Argentinian's landmark strike came 24th minutes into Napoli's clash away to Udinese on Sunday.  With the visitors trailing 1-0, Higuain latched onto a loose ball and slammed a powerful strike through the penalty box and past the goalkeeper.

However, things went downhill from there for both club and player, as Udinese scored twice more to claim a 3-1 win, while Higuain was sent off late on after receiving a second yellow card—a decision he did not take well.

The defeat came as a bitter blow for Napoli, who are now six points behind Juventus after the league leaders' 1-0 win over Empoli on Saturday.
