Pacquiao vs. Bradley: Live Round-by-Round Results and Fight Highlights
Manny Pacquiao defeated Timothy Bradley by unanimous decision on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to put a decisive stamp on their welterweight rivalry in what may have been his final fight.
All three judges favored Pacquiao, who put Bradley on the deck twice, by a 116-110 margin.
Pacquiao (56-8-2, 38 KO) didn't show any signs of a fighter on the downslope after nearly a year on the shelf with a shoulder injury following a deflating defeat against longtime rival Floyd Mayweather last May.
He seemed to have plenty left in the tank and took over what had been a tactical fight in the middle rounds to win going away.
Pacquiao was noncommittal about his future in post-fight comments to HBO's Max Kellerman. He reiterated that he'd made his family a promise to call it quits after this fight and focus on his political aspirations but left the door open to the possibility of a return.
You can bet that will be in high demand.
Bradley (33-2-1, 13 KO) fought a good enough fight to beat most men not named Pacquiao, but it wasn't close to enough against a rival who had beaten him twice before in the eyes of most fans and media members.
He fought smart in the early rounds but got careless a couple of times last and hit the canvas in Rounds 7 and 9, the first knockdowns suffered by either man in the series. It was pretty much academic from there.
