Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch WrestleMania 32 Odds, Preview, Pick

Tom ClarkApr 1, 2016

Charlotte is on her way to WrestleMania 32, defending the Divas Championship against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks on Sunday. This is the match that was meant to happen, the one each girl was built for from the moment they debuted together on Monday Night Raw in July.

The Divas division needed a massive overhaul, and that was the case for a long time. AJ Lee offered a nice change of pace, which was echoed later by Paige. But nothing has compared to the three women who will be doing battle on April 3.

This is what women's wrestling should be, and it's finally come to pass in WWE.

There's no doubting this match has been set up exactly the way it should have been, with Charlotte as the champ and her former friends as the challengers. WWE needed a strong heel to lead the way, a heel who is believable and capable of generating heat for the big night.

Charlotte is definitely that heel.

At 5'10" with lean muscle, she is physically the model of what a women's wrestler should be. It makes sense she's the champ; she looks as though she was made for the belt.

Much of her family legacy has helped this.

Being the daughter of Ric Flair has helped her tremendously, but it's not the story of her career. Charlotte has worked hard to get where she is, and WWE has shown a great amount of faith in her. The swagger she has as a result of Ric's influence is important and has helped her, but it's her effort in the ring that's getting the job done.

She is able to do it on her own, but her ego demands she tap into that Nature Boy persona. This is what has alienated her from the two women she once called friends, and it's what has driven this match into being.

Becky Lynch is the one who has bore the brunt of Charlotte's arrogance.

The Lass Kicker gives the impression she's a blue-collar girl, someone who did not grow up with many opportunities and had to create her own. Whatever success she's had has been earned. Becky represents the average fan who is not living life like a rock star; she is the common fan in the nosebleed section, cheering on her favorites.

Then there's Sasha, who is the perfect combination of both gimmicks.

Sasha has also worked hard to succeed in the business, but she has a taste for the finer things in life. She hasn't forgotten where she's come from, but she carries herself like she wants to be so much more. Sasha is the character every sassy little girl has aspired to be.

She's tough and feisty, but she's also glamorous. She's in full control of her life, and she always calls the shots. She is the perfect woman to take the reins of the Divas division, and Odds Shark believes that's what's going to happen.

Charlotte+140
Becky Lynch+500
Sasha Banks-300

This is the best outcome for the match. Sasha has just the right amount of fan support and just the right amount of heat to get over in any situation. Fans respect her, want to see her do well and know she's worked hard to get to where she is.

Sasha is the heel the Divas division deserves, and she will reach the top at WrestleMania.

It's the only way for the match to end. A Charlotte victory is not what fans want, and they would not leave happy if it happens. Becky is over, but she's perhaps not over enough to make fans forget about Sasha.

There is likely no one who could make fans forget about Sasha.

She took a backseat to Charlotte, and even Becky, for quite some time. It was almost as if she was in limbo between NXT and WWE's main roster. No one knew what was happening with her, and no one understood why she wasn't being elevated.

But now it all makes sense; the timing had to be perfect.

These three came in together, and they were meant to work WrestleMania together. They took the logical road into NXT, proved themselves in that environment and then made the logical progression onto Raw. Now their time to shine is here again, and they will take advantage of it.

This is the story of three women who wanted to change the wrestling world, and that change is definitely going to come.
