Thanks to the hilariously enjoyable Twitter account Useless Comparisons, this comedic association of non-associated things, along with many others like it, has opened up new avenues for amusing sports expression.
Take, for example, this reference to Adam retirement from the Chicago White Sox.
Or this subtle jab at the Los Angeles Clippers' Jordan's infamously inaccurate free-throw shooting.
Alternatively, there's a visual of the reigning MVP's heroically accurate splashes.
And a chuckle at Nike's inability to claim that sort of talent for its brand.
Not to be outdone by his Golden State Warriors teammate, Thompson receives a nod for two of his most exceptional qualities.
But perhaps most important of all is the correlation between Mo ' time on the court and the seasonality of one of America's most beloved vegetables.
