Watch: Jon Jones Already Back in the Gym Popping Pads After Jail

Steven RondinaApr 1, 2016

Jon Jones just got out of jail, and it did not take him long to get back in the gym. Video of the former light heavyweight champ hitting pads with his striking coach has hit social media, and Jones seems to be as good as ever. Check out the video below, via the Jackson-Winkeljohn Gym:

Jones, was freed Thursday following a day-and-a-half in jail due to a traffic stop that resulted in five citations, most notably drag racing. News of the incident first broke through Jones on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour. Jones would be arrested shortly thereafter for violating his probation, per Marc Raimondi of MMAFighting.com.

Raimondi reports Jones has since been freed with some new caveats being added to his probation, and his UFC 197 fight on April 23 with Daniel Cormier will continue on. If Jones wins, he will recapture the light heavyweight title he was stripped of last year.
