WWE Rumors: Buzz on Road to WWE WrestleMania 2016 for Week of April 1

Aaron BowerApr 1, 2016

With a roster so heavily depleted, Sunday's WWE WrestleMania 32 is arguably one of the most nervously anticipated in years.

Can the company pull a show off without so many of its top talents? The main event is limping along towards the pay-per-view, and there are question marks across most of the card.

Perhaps more than ever, the rumor mill has been eagerly observed this week to see if there will be any twists and turns before the show. And true to form, there is buzz across the Internet about what might happen.

Here's the final batch of rumors before 'Mania.

A Shock Cesaro Return?

Does WWE have some surprises up its sleeve for WrestleMania—and is one of them the return of The Swiss Superman?

Rumors are circulating online that Cesaro could yet be involved at the biggest show of the year, which would definitely give fans something to cheer—especially if rumors about the match he's involved in are to be believed.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Lords of Pain) noted that WWE officials have been talking about his possible involvement in the 20-man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a match he of course won two years ago.

The bout is back on the main show this year, but with him taking part as a surprise entrant, it would definitely give the audience a reason to be invested in the contest.

And if he went on and won it, the buzz around 'Mania before the show has even begun would be electric. Here's hoping this particular rumor is right on the money.

The Latest on The Bullet Club

They're coming—or that's at least what the latest batch of rumors tell us.

The Bullet Club—well, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, as well as NXT Champion Finn Balor—are set to make its main-roster debut imminently. The latest update on the situation comes from PWInsider (h/t Wrestling Inc), where it's noted that they will feature at the TV tapings after WrestleMania 32.

Could we perhaps see The Balor Club debut as a group on Monday's Raw, arguably the most eagerly anticipated edition of the show every year? The crowd is always electric and on top form, and it seems like the logical time to roll Balor and his stable out.

From there, the world could be their oyster if they're booked properly.

John Cena at WrestleMania?

First there's a potential return for Cesaro being rumored—and now reports are suggesting that none other than John Cena will turn up at 'Mania this year.

This would be typical of Cena, who makes a habit of returning quicker than expected. His presence at WrestleMania 32 would give the show a real shot in the arm, as he's still arguably one of, if not the biggest, talents in the company.

The report comes from PWInsider (h/t Wrestling Inc), where it's suggested that Cena could have even been cleared by the company already, which would mean that perhaps he could even wrestle at the show.

Recent reports had said that he had a while to go in his recovery, but Cena is likely to be at 'Mania if these reports are to be believed.

The big question is: Where could he compete? Could he go after the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or find a role in the main show?
