Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union to Flip Homes on New HGTV Series

Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade has already conquered the hardwood. Now, he and wife Gabrielle Union will try their hand in the South Florida real estate market.   

According to Deadline's Patrick Hipes, Wade and Union will star in an upcoming HGTV reality show. The yet-to-be-named "Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade Project" hasn't received a confirmed premiere date.

"[Union] and [Wade] are beginning a passion project—flipping homes," wrote HGTV, per Hipes. "Follow along as they renovate, revitalize and resell a home in a suburban Florida neighborhood."

Wade responded to the news Wednesday on Twitter:

In November 2014, shortly after Wade and Union married, the actress discussed how she and her husband have a shared passion for home improvement shows.

"We are obsessed about HGTV—remodels. Yes," Union said, per Bruna Nessif of EOnline.com. "Property Brothers, Flip This House is everything. If I watch without him, that's when we get into trouble."

Wade said he and Union have yet to pick out the house they will help to remodel and that they'll begin focusing on the show once the 2015-16 NBA season ends, via the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
