Team Total Divas vs. Team Bad and Blonde: WWE WrestleMania 32 Winner, Reaction
In a battle for supremacy within WWE's Divas division, Team Total Divas defeated Team B.A.D. and Blonde Sunday on the WrestleMania 32 Kickoff show at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Scott Fishman of the Sun Sentinel described the finish and why it was so fitting:
"Brie Bella winning with Daniel Bryan's Yes Lock and then to have Nikki come out to celebrate. Career moment. #WrestleMania #WWE #WM32

WWE provided a photo with the winning team, which included Nikki Bella, who joined her sister Brie and the rest of the Divas after the match:
Brian Fritz of Sporting News thought it was a strong send-off for Brie Bella:
Brie's husband Daniel Bryan tweeted his thoughts on his what is quite possibly the last match of his wife's career:
During the weeks leading up the Showcase of Immortals, Brie and Lana engaged in a rivalry that ultimately came to include the entire Divas roster aside from Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch.
Lana's cause was eventually joined by Team B.A.D. members Naomi and Tamina, as well as Summer Rae and NXT Diva Emma. Brie countered with a team comprised entirely of Total Divas cast members in the form of Paige, Natalya, Alicia Fox and the returning Eva Marie.
The inclusion of Eva Marie came as a surprise since she has been a full-time member of NXT for the past several months and hadn't been seen on the main roster in roughly a year.
As seen in this photo from the leader of the All Red Everything movement's Instagram account, the rest of the Total Divas weren't quite sure what to make of Eva lending a helping hand:
Despite the skepticism, Eva Marie was thrilled to be back in the fold and in line for a match at the biggest spectacle in sports entertainment:
Eva and the Bella Twins have had plenty of behind-the-scenes issues in recent years as showcased on Total Divas, which created an interesting dynamic for that team.
Brie was particularly outspoken about the subject on Twitter, as she wondered if coexisting with Eva was even possible:
The Total Divas' dissension seemed to favor Team B.A.D. and Blonde on the surface, but the opposition's chemistry was immaterial to Summer:
While there were inevitably storylines abounding with 10 women involved in the match, Lana made her intentions for WrestleMania quite clear in the days leading up to the Show of Shows:
Although the Triple Threat match for the Divas Championship between Charlotte, Sasha and Becky received much of the hype prior to WrestleMania, the 10-Diva tag team match provided a forum for everyone on the roster to get some time in the spotlight.
The Divas division is arguably more talented now than it has been in many years, and the depth was on full display during the Kickoff show.
While the bout was chaotic at times and the result may not have a huge impact moving forward, it showed that WWE is more committed to giving its female talent a platform than it was in previous years.
With Team Total Divas coming out on top, it creates some level of intrigue in regard to whether established performers such as Paige and Nattie will receive a boost into the title scene.
The division will be shaken up to some degree based on how the Divas Championship match plays out, and that could create an opportunity for some of the women who were featured in the 10-Diva tag team match.
