If the average fan received a six-figure check, the first thing he or she would do is deposit it in the bank, even if it meant breaking plans.

That's apparently not how NFL linebacker Sean Weatherspoon rolls.

After spending the first five years of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, Weatherspoon went west to join the Arizona Cardinals for the 2015 season. It was during his stint in the desert that he apparently misplaced a game check—and never found it until now.

Weatherspoon has returned to the Falcons this offseason, a decision that has already paid off. While moving, the 28-year-old came across a game check that he never cashed:

My gal just found a game check, I guess moving does have its perks ha

There's nothing better than coming across money that you weren't expecting to see, no matter the amount. Of course, this is a little better than finding five bucks. According to Spotrac, Weatherspoon made $2.35 million in base salary with the Cardinals last season, which puts his weekly paycheck at around $138,235 (before taxes).

When reporter Nubyjas Wilborn tweeted at Weatherspoon about the situation, the veteran linebacker revealed that he'd received every other paycheck via direct deposit:

@nwilborn19 bro they gave me one hard copy all season... Everything else was direct deposit lol #blessed

Hopefully Weatherspoon makes going to the bank a priority before he has time to misplace the check again.
