Wayne Rooney Says His Son Wants a Jamie Vardy England Shirt
Even Rooney is a Jamie Vardy fan.
But no, we don't mean Wayne. The Manchester United striker, who missed England's defeat to the Netherlands on Tuesday through injury, was speaking as a pundit on ITV's coverage of the match when he revealed one of his sons is a big admirer of the Leicester City striker.
"My lad has asked me to get him and England kit with Vardy on the back!" he said on ITV (via the Daily Express).

The Foxes forward scored twice during the international break, adding an opener against the Netherlands to his equaliser against Germany on Saturday, leading to calls for manager Roy Hodgson to pick him ahead of Rooney at Euro 2016.
"As I have said throughout my career at Man United and England I never take my place for granted," said Rooney. "Obviously you want to play, and it is great that competition is there. The quality we have got, it is exciting to be part of it."
As for the younger Rooney, he might not be getting that shirt he's after if Vardy takes his father's place in the team this summer.
