Karim Benzema Scores Brilliant Solo Goal in Real Madrid Training

Karim Benzema's ongoing trial for an alleged part in the Mathieu Valbuena sex tape scandal meant he wasn't called up to the latest France squad.

Instead, the striker was left in Madrid to train with other Real stars not in action during the international break.

But that doesn't mean Benzema has been slacking—oh no. The Frenchman showed his class in a small-sided game at the club's Valdebebas training base, skipping around four opponents before rolling the ball into an empty net.

Los Blancos fans will be hoping this is just a sign of things to come from Benzema, with Saturday's El Clasico clash with Barcelona just days away.
