It is only a five-paragraph story in the Daily Express, but it has been enough to get Liverpool fans excited. 

According to a story written by Paul Joyce, Mario Gotze has "privately indicated" he wants to be reunited with Jurgen Klopp at Anfield. 

The Bayern Munich man played with Klopp at Borussia Dortmund, and, to make the potential deal even more attractive to Reds fans, the report says that Liverpool could get the World Cup final hero for just £15-20m because he is out of contract in the summer of 2017. 

There is not much to go on here, but Liverpool fans were certainly excited by the report, not least because of faith in Joyce's reporting. 

Elsewhere, most of the papers focus on England's preparations for Tuesday night's friendly over the Netherlands.
