Matt Barnes and Derek Fisher Exchange Blows in YouTube User's 'UFC 2' Simulation
"There was no fight," penned former New York head coach Derek Fisher in his first-person explanation of the rumored altercation between him and the Memphis Grizzlies' Matt Barnes, published on The Cauldron.
But a fight is precisely what many fans and fellow athletes hoped for.
Now, thanks to YouTube user Eric and his EA Sports UFC 2 powers, it's virtually what they'll get.
Without spoiling the bout's result, it's fair to say the pair battled it out in the Octagon as they did in real life and on social media (hint: "[Matt] showed up unannounced at Gloria's house and started swinging...").
Seems like J.R. Smith got his wish after all.

Update (4/11/16):
Although he insisted that he's put the incident behind him, Barnes, who, thanks to his kids has seen the clip, seems satisfied with the results of the faux bout.
"I mean, that's what would really happen if it came down to it," he told TMZ Sports.
Time has not dulled his confidence the slightest bit.
