Fan Films Missed Cristiano Ronaldo Penalty Hitting Them in the Face at Bernabeu

"Welcome to the Bernabeu," indeed.

One fan managed to get right in the thick of things at Real Madrid's iconic stadium earlier this month when they were struck in the face by a missed penalty from Madrid's main man, Cristiano Ronaldo.

In a YouTube video, the user, who says they were visiting from Canada, is seen filming Ronaldo's second-half spot-kick during a 4-0 win over Sevilla:

"Not sure that Cristiano Ronaldo meant to welcome me with a black eye, but this Canadian football fan will take the penalty kick to the face as an excellent memory from one of the best," they wrote in the description of the YouTube video. "Wish I could've kept the ball."
