The 28-year-old was denied by opposing goalkeeper David James once, before he scored the goal everybody came to see in the first half.
Say what you will about the defending, but your suspicions would have been confirmed shortly afterward when Adrian (yes, the goalkeeper) ran the length of the field to score West Ham's second.
The fans were also treated to some magic from West Ham legend Paolo Di Canio.
