UK Back Pages: Wayne Rooney to Remain England's 'Main Man' Up Front

England's fantastic 3-2 win over Germany on Saturday night looked to be bad news for Wayne Rooney. 

The injured captain had to watch Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy score in his absence and put doubts over his future in the team. 

However, Monday's papers make mostly positive reading for Rooney, with England boss Roy Hodgson seemingly backing the Manchester United man:

The sentiment is not quite so strong in every paper though, with some suggesting Rooney still faces a battle for his place:

I guess we won't truly know until England kick off their Euro 2016 campaign against Russia in Marseille, France, on June 11.
