Olivier Giroud provided a glorious demonstration of the considerable skill he possesses with a sensational control-nutmeg combination during France's friendly with the Netherlands in Amsterdam.

The visitors led 2-1, thanks in part to Giroud's first-half strike, when goalkeeper Steve Mandanda launched a long clearance up the field.

The ball appeared to be drifting harmlessly out of play, until Giroud pulled it out of the air with an exquisite first touch and slipped it through the legs of Netherlands left-back Jetro Willems.
