Mitchell & Ness Releases Data for Best-Selling Retro Jerseys by State in 2015

While fans these days are buying jerseys of current star players like Stephen Curry and Mike Trout, it's also important to represent your favorite sport's roots.

Because turning back the clock is always fun.

Mitchell & Ness, a company that produces throwback items galore, has released its data for the best-selling throwback jerseys of 2015. Thanks to the state-by-state breakdown, we get a great look at which jerseys are still in demand.

At a quick glance, you'll notice that Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird won the most states (five), narrowly edging out the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant (four). However, Bryant has the top-selling jersey overall.

Most of the results—like Barry Sanders winning Michigan—aren't too surprising, but some of the best-sellers might jump out at you.
