Ex-Barcelona Spokesperson Mocks Real Madrid After Champions League Draw
The consensus seems to be that Real Madrid got a generous draw in the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League after being pitted against German side Wolfsburg.
One man who didn't seem to be surprised was former Barcelona spokesman Toni Freixa, who said Madrid would have drawn a mid-table Belgian team if it were possible.
Freixa said on social media (h/t AS): "They didn’t get Charleroi only because they weren’t in the draw, but in order to win the Champions League you have to beat the champions."

Champions Barcelona were paired with Atletico Madrid in the last eight.
Freixa even predicted Real Madrid's fate before the draw, saying: "I’d like Madrid in the quarter-finals now, although they’ll probably get Wolfsburg."
Barcelona fans were highlighting on Twitter how they have supposedly had tougher matches in recent Champions League seasons than their fierce rivals.
Good thing we get to see the games play out.
