Villanova Guard Ryan Arcidiacono Beats Halftime Buzzer with Wild 3-Pointer

Villanova's Ryan Arcidiacono isn't interested in allowing upsets.

With fewer than five seconds remaining in the first half and his No. 2-seeded team already up 37-26 over No. 15-slotted UNC Asheville, the senior guard still saw an opportunity to improve upon the margin.

Recognizing that time was rapidly expiring, Arcidiacono pushed the ball from one coast to the other at a ferocious pace, weaving past his opponents before pulling up just behind the arc.

The 36 percent three-point shooter unloaded a high-arcing shot, falling away, legs kicking out, with a duo of defenders in his face, and connected right as the buzzer sounded.

Future NCAA tournament opposition be warned: The Wildcats don't plan on taking any plays off.
