Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed Flamini would be available for Saturday's trip to Upton Park.
Wenger Has Superior Options to Flamini in Midfield
Flamini hasn't been a huge miss, as more often than not this season he has proved unreliable as a holding midfielder due to his lack of positional discipline. Specifically, his forays up the field often leave the Gunners exposed at the back.
The Frenchman is also liable to make rash challenges, as he did against Barcelona, gifting them a penalty just seconds after entering the field of play in their UEFA Champions League first-leg match at the Emirates Stadium.
Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny have both operated in the holding midfield role in recent weeks and performed admirably.
With that said, Wenger could use the extra depth with Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta still not ready for first-team action.
