Kawhi Leonard is a simple man.

The 24-year-old is a superstar on the court—but not off it. He's not flashy. He's a true San Antonio Spur.

On Tuesday, Sports Illustrated published a story about the All-Star written by Lee Jenkins. Though Leonard isn't too talkative, Jenkins uncovered some peculiar facts about the elite forward.

First, he still drives the same car he did in high school. Just as a reminder, Leonard agreed to a five-year, $94 million extension over the summer:

He often drives a rehabbed '97 Chevy Tahoe, nicknamed Gas Guzzler, which he drove across Southern California's Inland Empire as a teenager. "It runs," Leonard explains, "and it's paid off."

Second, he needs coupons to get wings. Again...five years, $94 million:

He is happy to sponsor Wingstop, which sends him coupons for free wings, so he can feed his Mango Habanero addiction. This winter, after his $94 million contract kicked in, he panicked when he lost his coupons. Wingstop generously replenished his supply.

Tim Duncan would be extremely proud of both stories.

Never change, Kawhi.
