The NCAA tournament tipped off Tuesday night with two First Four games, but there's still time to fill out your bracket before Thursday's action.

To help you fill out your bracket, let's take a look at three upset picks for the first round.

To assist with these upset selections, we'll turn to ESPN's Basketball Power Index.

In recent years, ESPN's metric has fared extremely well predicting upsets, especially when the lower-seeded team is actually higher ranked in the BPI.

Last year, for example, BPI correctly predicted 11th seed Dayton (ranked 29th in BPI) would upset sixth-seeded Providence (ranked 33rd).

BPI also notably had Wichita State, a seventh seed, ranked 12th overall in 2015. The Shockers would go on to upset Kansas in the second round and advance to the Sweet 16.

Here's a look at the full bracket, followed by three BPI-approved upset picks.

Upset Picks

Gonzaga Bulldogs over Seton Hall Pirates

It's back to the role of Cinderella for Gonzaga, as the Bulldogs enter the tournament as an 11th seed against Seton Hall in the first round.

Gonzaga is BPI's highest-ranked team among the double-digit seeds, making it a strong candidate for a run into the second round or further.

Not only does BPI recognize Gonzaga as an under-seeded team, but it views Seton Hall as slightly over-seeded by the committee.

BPI actually placed Gonzaga (23rd overall) a few spots ahead of the Pirates (28th), making this an easy upset selection.

Yale Bulldogs over Baylor Bears

BPI also has a strong track record identifying the over-seeded teams at risk of an early upset, which is the category Baylor falls into this year.

BPI has Baylor ranked 32nd overall, a projected eighth seed. However, the committee placed Baylor as a fifth seed.

The 5-12 matchup is a breeding ground for upsets, and Baylor's generous placement only increases the odds.

Yale's lack of experience makes this upset pick somewhat risky—head coach James Jones is coaching in his first tournament.

However, inexperienced teams are often capable of pulling off a single upset. Their inexperience tends to show up later, preventing them from making deeper runs in the tournament.

Wichita State Shockers over Arizona Wildcats

If the First Four was supposed to put teams at a disadvantage, it certainly hasn't worked out that way.

Since the field expanded to 68 teams, one of the teams assigned to the First Four has won its first round game every year, and three of the five teams have advanced as far as the Sweet 16.

Wichita State appeared to get its tournament jitters out of the way in the first half of its First Four victory over Vanderbilt and will be ready for Arizona.

In addition to having the First Four advantage, Wichita State also ranks as one of BPI's most under-seeded teams.

BPI places the Shockers 25th overall, worthy of a sixth-seed.
