Thrilling Ohio HS Playoff Game Featured a Buzzer-Beater at End of Every Quarter
Any playoff game that goes into overtime is sure to have its thrilling moments, but Saturday's Ohio Division I regional final between the Garfield Heights Bulldogs and St. Ignatius Wildcats was something else.
Not only did the teams need two overtimes to decide the winner, but the game also featured a buzzer-beater at the end of every quarter. All. Four. Quarters.
The shot above by the Bulldogs' Shawn Christian came at the end of the fourth quarter, which gave his team new life. While that turned out to be the biggest game-changer, it was just one of many buzzer-beaters.

It would have been fitting for this game to be decided by a buzzer-beater, but instead, fans had to "settle" for a one-point game.
Garfield Heights outlasted St. Ignatius 70-69 in double overtime. The Bulldogs will take on the Westerville South Wildcats in the state semifinals Friday.
