Hall May Make Decision Soon

Monday, June 20

Hall "could" make his choice on where he'll play the 2016 season "sometime next week," according to Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports 910.

Hall Linked to Dolphins

Sunday, June 5

The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reported that the Miami Dolphins are not pursuing Hall "at this time." However, Jackson noted that Hall is "on the Dolphins’ list should they have injuries or if their young corners don’t develop as the Dolphins hope and expect."

Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel reported on April 12 that the Dolphins were interested in Hall.

Falcons Out of Hall Race

Saturday, May 14

Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reported the Atlanta Falcons won't be signing Hall, despite their earlier interest.

Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said on May 6 that the team was considering signing Hall, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

On May 9, Quinn stated he would meet with Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff and team doctors this week to decide if they'd sign Hall, per McClure.

Hall Meets with Giants

Tuesday, May 3

Hall met with the New York Giants on Tuesday, according to Jordan Raanan of NJ.com, who added Hall then flew to Atlanta to meet with the Falcons. "More than a few teams are interested," reported Raanan.

Hall Will Visit with Cowboys

Tuesday, March 15

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported, citing a source, that Hall is visiting with the Dallas Cowboys on March 15.

Hall Set to Meet with Cardinals

Friday, March 11

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Hall is scheduled for a March 14 visit with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals could be looking for some cornerback help after they held the eighth-best pass defense in the NFL last season. Patrick Peterson is one of the game's best corners, but No. 2 Jerraud Powers is still a free-agent.

They've been busy already this offseason by re-signing Cariel Brooks, as well as bringing in Asa Jackson from the Baltimore Ravens and Joel Wilkinson, an Australian rules football player, per Odegard

Brooks and Jackson appeared in seven games combined last season and didn't record a single defensive statistic. So if Powers does walk this offseason, the Cardinals will be in need of some veteran help in the secondary.

Hall can provide just that to help bolster Arizona's defense if the price is right.

Hall Still Productive Despite Age

Hall burst onto the scene with the Bengals in 2007, where he became a key contributor in the team's secondary.

After four solid seasons, Hall signed a four-year, $39 million deal before the 2011 season, via Spotrac. But under that contract, his numbers dropped as he dealt with not only struggles, but injury:

At 31 years old, Hall's better days might be behind him, but he still managed to produce last season. Hall was voted AFC Defensive Player of the Week after he returned an interception for a touchdown and recorded six total tackles against the St. Louis Rams in December 2015.

Hall recorded the sixth-most tackles on Cincinnati's defense in 2015 and trailed only Adam Jones among cornerbacks. He was also one of five players to record multiple interceptions.
