Why The Redskins Should Fire Zorn

Fahim CarimSep 27, 2009

First congrats to the Lions they finally got a win for their fans. I wondered how do you lose 19 games in a row. You have to work at it. It takes a perfect combination of stupidity and luck. Now my question is for the Redskins how do you lose to a team everyone else can beat? Well the answer is beat yourself. The good news is several questions have been answered.

1. Yes, Zorn should be asked to empty out his desk.

2. No, he should not be allowed on the team plane

3. Yes, he should be forced to hitchhike back to Seattle.

4. Yes, Campbell is a good quarterback but the fans have lost confidence in him and he should try his luck elsewhere.

5. No, its not his fault Zorn has no self-confidence. What is funny is, the part of the offense which Zorn is handling the passing game is the best part of the Redskins offense. When they pass they are effective but Zorn doesn't believe it. He only seems to see what is going wrong. I'm more mad he didn't pass on 3rd and 7 than that he ran for it on fourth and one but.

6. Yes, Zorn seems to want the ball out of Campbell's hands in clutch time.

7. Yes, they should have kicked the field goal. On 4th and one you take the lead, don't give a losing team hope.

8. No You don't give a team the ball back for a do-over when they are forced to kick a long field goal. Unless you have a great defensive team

9. Yes, it is worth it to try to rebuild the team. Patience is usually a good thing but the Lions were patient with Millen and where did that get them.

Bottom line. Zorn has just made to many egregious coaching errors to be allowed to finish the season. He should make his "you play to win the game" or "the Bears were who we thought they were" speech and leave.

P.S. fire the general manager too.
