ICC World T20 2016 Results: Updated Schedule, Tables After Friday's Scores
Netherlands and Ireland were both knocked out of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 after their Group A clashes with Oman and Bangladesh, respectively, were abandoned as no results.
Having lost their opener to Bangladesh, the Dutch needed to claim a victory in Dharamsala, India, to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the tournament proper. But inclement weather meant a ball wasn't bowled and the match called off.
They were not helped at all by sharing the points with Oman after persistent heavy rain forced the match to be abandoned, per Sky Sports Cricket:
Here is what the latest group standings look like following the no results:

Oman's chances of qualifying for the next stage of the tournament remain intact and will be decided in their final match of Group A against Bangladesh.
The second of Friday's matches did see some play, with Bangladesh putting on an impressive 94 for two from just eight overs in a match which was initially reduced to 12 overs a side; Tamim Iqbal smashed 47 from 26 balls during his time at the crease.
However, it was an innings which never concluded, as the elements swept in once again. The result leaves Ireland, while struggling, out of contention to qualify, while Bangladesh's hopes hinge on what should be an intriguing showdown with Oman.
