Belt will play against the Colorado Rockies on Saturday, per Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News.
Belt Continues to Struggle with Injuries
Belt has had trouble avoiding the injury bug each of the past two seasons, with a concussion, thumb ailment and a minor meniscus tear all cropping up. However, he's been a solid contributor when healthy.
All told, Belt finished 2015 with a career-high 18 home runs, 68 RBI and a .280 batting average. Prior to the injury, Belt was batting .281 with four home runs and 22 RBI through 47 appearances.
