A few fateful days ago, the Los Angeles Lakers shocked the NBA by staging an improbable 112-95 victory over the Golden State Warriors

To what do they owe the success? The young, emerging duo of D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson.

Together, the pair notched 46 points, and they haven't looked back since.

So naturally, after defeating the NBA's hottest backcourt in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, a duo famously referred to as the Splash Brothers, the L.A. one-two punch resolved to create a moniker of their own.

Clarkson's selection? The "Swag Bros."

There's only one problem.

Who's going to break the news to teammate Nick Young (aka Swaggy P)?

-------------------- Update: Friday, March 11 --------------------

Turns out no one needed to break the news to Swaggy P—he came up with the name. At least that's what he told TMZ Sports:

Mark Medina @MarkG_Medina

New nickname? Jordan Clarkson called him and D'Angelo Russell the "Swag Bros."
